We both cannot thank your wife Marilise and you, Marco, enough for our ceremony. Celebrating our 5th Wedding Anniversary in such an intimate and emotional way was unforgettable.

The ceremony exceeded our expectations — you went above and beyond to make us feel special. Incorporating Wallisian and Tongan words, the kava ceremony for Polynesian tradition, and the French elements like vow writing was such a beautiful touch. Experiencing this French Polynesian blend here in New Caledonia made us feel deeply connected.

Marco, your English was excellent and made us feel completely comfortable. Having our ceremony at sunset on the beach at the Sheraton Hotel, with the beautiful setup prepared by your wife, overwhelmed us with emotion and love.

Your ukulele playing, and both your voices during the ceremony, made our vow renewal feel truly special. You treated us like royalty, and including our son, Slater Kapelieli, as Best Man — with a special gift — was an incredibly meaningful touch.

Our wedding was planned during a cruise stopover—a situation where many things could have gone wrong (especially the weather!), but we were lucky. Sailing from Sydney to Nouméa, we used a wedding planner to arrange everything in advance. Our day began with unexpected delays (transportation and planner-related issues—not Marco’s fault). When we finally arrived, my sister went to set up the flowers, only to discover Marco and his wife had already taken care of it. This kindness meant so much to us. Blair and I wanted our children involved, and Marco beautifully adapted the ceremony to accommodate their sweet interruptions (sitting with us, hugging our legs during vows, even trying to grab the mic!). We chose to include a handfasting ritual (honoring my Celtic roots), which made the ceremony feel even more meaningful for our family. Marco provided the ribbons and a beautiful keepsake box—a touching detail. Despite limited pre-wedding contact, Marco orchestrated everything flawlessly. The ceremony flowed naturally (even with the kids’ adorable chaos!), and his warmth made it feel like a gathering of loved ones. Many of my family members hugged and thanked him afterward—that’s how special he made it. Marco crafts the perfect ceremony for each couple.
